Tabriz Rug, 10’00 x 12’10.

This classic style Persian rug features a medallion and corner design in a Herati
pattern. An ornate central medallion patterned with flower tipped cruciform motifs,
lush cream palmettes and azure foliage on a cut out bed of butterscotch covered
in rhomboidal figures connected by angular vines. Cream spandrels are covered
in stylized floral roundels and lilies with chestnut weeping willows. A thick
band of milky chocolate blooms with lotus connected with geometric patterned
angular vines, flanked by two thin bands of mint. The traditional curvilinear
floral design juxtaposed with the angular geometric figures will make this
elegant rug the focus of any modern living area.
