No more broken Ethernet jack!

In short, this mod will beef up the connection between the Kemper Profiler to the Remote by using an Ethercon connector instead of an Ethernet connector. A common issue with any piece of gear that is constantly being moved around, plugged or unplugged, will eventually fail. Our mod will ensure that your network cable connecting the Kemper Profiler to the Remote remains solid and a lot more durable in the long run. 

How is the Kemper Profiler Mod performed?

As seen in the pictures of this mod, the network connection is moved to a different location. Looking at the back of the Kemper Profiler, you will see a vent in the top right. A hole is made in order to fit the Ethercon Jack. The new jack will be securely fastened to the Kemper chassis. Internally the network port will be re-routed and attached to the new Ethercon Jack. You will no longer plug into the original Ethernet/Network port, you will now plug into the Ethercon jack.

This mod can be performed on all Kemper Profiler Head and Rack Models.

Do I need a new cable?

Not necessarily, your old cable will still work. However, we do include a brand new British Audio Ethercon cable that is 20ft in length. 

Will my Kemper Profiler Remote have to be modified as well?
