The Q-SYS MPA-Q 4x500 is a four-channel network amplifier built for installed audio systems that need centralized control, flexible loudspeaker support, and dependable operation. As part of the Q-SYS amplifier platform, it extends native system integration into hospitality, entertainment, retail, and government environments where distributed audio and managed signal routing are critical. All four channels support direct-drive Lo-Z, Hi-Z, 70V, and 100V operation without requiring manual switching or bridged configuration changes, helping simplify deployment across mixed-zone designs.

For integrators and operators working in networked AV environments, the MPA-Q 4x500 combines audio transport, amplifier control, and onboard processing in a 2RU full-rack chassis. Dual Gigabit Ethernet ports support redundant networked audio, while standalone operation allows the amplifier to switch to available analog inputs if network connectivity is lost. Analog Mode can bypass networked audio entirely, creating a fully analog amplifier with basic channel setup available from the front panel display. If PoE is available on LAN A, the unit also supports quick audio recovery after a power interruption.

Additional control integration includes four GPI inputs and two NO/NC output relays, making the amplifier suitable for larger room control and paging workflows. Included rack ears support standard rack installation or chassis-supported surface mounting, and the bundled Euroblock connectors help streamline field wiring for installed sound projects.
