The clamp is built with a stainless steel band and galvanized lugs that protect the clamp against rust and corrosion. The lugs create uniform pressure against the gasket to provide a positive seal that will not collapse on Schedule 40 PVC. The gasket is made of high-quality rubber that won’t deteriorate over time and that can withstand a temperature rating of -20-degrees F to +180-degrees F.
