At the edge of the Big Island of Hawaii, Melaleuca trees bloom quietly — and our bees turn those blossoms into one of the most therapeutically unique honeys we carry.
Melaleuca is a tea tree closely related to the Australian Manuka. As a result of that close botanical relationship, Melaleuca and Manuka honey share a wide range of the same therapeutic phenolic acids — making this a rare Hawaiian alternative to one of the world's most sought-after honeys.
Melaleuca honey is well known for its topical properties. It crystalizes at a relatively warm temperature — which makes it uniquely suited for use as a natural exfoliant or face mask. Many of our customers purchase it specifically for this purpose, and keep a jar in the bathroom alongside the kitchen.
Some have described the flavor as medicinal — bold, complex, and unlike anything in a typical honey lineup. If you appreciate Manuka honey, this is a must-try.
Single-pollen. Grown on the Big Island of Hawaii. Very limited supply — only 2 jars remaining. 🌺
