These fuse blocks attach right to your 3/8" threaded rod or threaded insert battery post, and accept connections (on top of the fuse) with a 5/16" lug. Fuses are not included.

There are a number of reasons to use these fuse holders:

• This is the most compact way to mount an MRBF fuse, as long as you have an extra inch above your battery posts
• They alleviate the hassle of having to make up a short wire to connect a standard fuse block to the battery
• They make it very easy to comply with the ABYC rule requiring unsheathed wires to have a fuse or breaker within 7" of the battery post

Reasons not to use these fuse blocks include:

• They handle a maximum of 300A per fuseblock - do not install two 300A fuses on a dual MRBF holder!
• Replacement fuses are not as common as ANL or Class T fuses
• MRBF fuses are more expensive than ANL fuses, but less expensive than Class T fuses
