Apurina AwiryThe Apurina tribe make their famous green Rape from a plant they call Awiry. They dont use ashes, only Awiry. They just dry its leafs, pound them and sieve the powder. It doesnt contain tobacco. Because the Awiry grows close to the river, this Rape can only be made in the dry season when the river is low. Awiry is traditionally inhaled through a straight tube, a unique snuffing style that differs from most Rap varieties that are blown up the nose.
