Effects of this medicine
This medicine acts on mast cells to suppress allergic symptoms with inhibitory action on releasing chemical mediators such as histamine and leukotriene C4, and antagonistic action on histamine H1 receptors.
It is usually used for the treatment of allergic rhinitis, urticaria and itch accompanied with skin diseases such as eczema, dermatitis and pruritus.
Dosing schedule (How to take this medicine)
・For adults: In general, take 1 tablet (10 mg of the active ingredient) at a time, once a day, after meal. The dosage may be adjusted according to the disease, age or symptoms.
For children aged 7 years or over: In general, take 1 tablet (10 mg of the active ingredient) at a time, once a day, after meal.
In each case, strictly follow the instructions.
・This medicine swiftly melts in mouth, so you can take it without water, however, swallow with saliva if not with water. Do not take the medicine without water when you are lying back.
・Wet fingers will melt the tablet. Dry your hands/fingers when taking out the medicine from the sheet. Bend or separate the sheet along perforated line, and remove the backside film from the red mark. Since this medicine is soft and breakable in comparison to usual tablets, be sure to tear the backside film first and then push out the tablet with the ball of your finger when dosing. Take a whole tablet including fragments if the tablet is broken.
・If you miss a dose, take a dose as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and follow your regular dosing schedule. You should never take two doses at one time.

・If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch, rash, etc.) to any medicines or foods.
・If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
・If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)
Precautions while taking this medicine
・If you are breastfeeding, avoid breastfeeding while taking this medicine.
