A single 19th Century California style spur
The spur is made of iron or steel with a dark patina
The outer arm of the heel band is shaped and has engraved silver decoration.
There would have originally been a silver spot in the middle of theis arm.
Both arms end in a button, the outer button has the remains of a leather spur strap and its large decorated concho.
The neck turns downwards, there is engraved silver decoration on its outer surface and it has a chapguard on its top surface.
The rowel has ten points and still turns freely.
I cannot find any maker's marks or stamps
