Our Center Mount Bracket Countertop Bracket provides the best support for a countertop on a knee wall spanning both sides. Four countersunk mounting holes are made in the center of the bracket so screws may be directly screwed into the top of the half wall. Both edges have a 45 degree beveled edge so there's no blunt edge under your countertop. Gives the best support for an overhanging granite, marble, or heavy weight countertop.

• All Brackets are 2 1/2″ wide.
• 45 degree beveled & smooth front edge.
• 4 countersunk mounting holes for a secure mount to a half wall.
• Bracket is buffed to give smooth edges and eliminate any burrs.

• Powder coated black to prevent against corrosion and rust.

Weight Capacity:

• Make sure high quality mounting hardware is used to secure bracket.
• Specific max load/weight capacities per bracket are detailed in the diagram.
• Examples:
  • One 15″ long 3/8″ thick bracket has a weight capacity of 1100 lbs.
  • Two 40″ long 3/8″ thick brackets have a weight capacity of 800 lbs.

Installation Tips:

• Mountain Hardware Not Included.
• Recommending #12 tapered wood screws 1.5″ – 2″ long.
• Drill pilot holes to avoid cracking your mounting surface.
• Route out a slot for the bracket to lay into. The bracket should be flush with the top of the half wall.
• This bracket must be installed before your stone or wood countertop is installed. The countertop overhang will lay on top on the support bracket.
• If you’re using this bracket to support stone, we recommend Liquid Nails to mount the bracket to the stone.
• If you only need a support bracket on one side of a pony wall, use our Top Mount Countertop Support Brackets.

Bracket Size Recommendations:

• 3/8″ thick brackets are our most popular. Will be plenty strong for most countertop overhangs. Used for both commercial and residential applications.
• 1/2 thick brackets are designed for long stone overhangs and commercial applications. If anyone is going to sit/lead on countertop or a large amount of weight is anticipated, we recommend this thickness.
• The bracket length should be 1″ – 3″ shorter than the overhang.
