Product Description

Set of three traditional hand-etched kansa brass storage boxes that fit ('nest') into each other.

Use these boxes to store jewellery, as paandaans or as decor accents for a dash of traditional elegance. They even make great gifts for special occasions, especially if you fill them with sweets or other goodies.

This product has been made by traditional lohar metalworkers from Gujarat. These lohars started out doing small job like repairing metal tools and utensils for villagers. As times changed and with no work to be found in their villages, they refined their skills and tapped into the increasing demand for finely-crafted, aesthetically made traditional utensils.

Being hand made, this product is unique in itself, and its tiny imperfections are what make it special.

Instructions for Care

• Clean using dish soap and a soft sponge.
• Do not use solvents, acid, scrubbers or steel wool.
• Do not soak.
• Do not clean in the dishwasher.
• Do not microwave.
• To polish, rub 'pitambari' powder onto the surface, rinse with water and dry with a soft cotton cloth.
