It’s biodegradable, non-persistent, and active at very low levels to protect water-based products like lotions. For emulsification, Cetearyl Olivate (and) Sorbitan Olivate derived from olive oil and sorbitol creates a stable, silky emulsion without synthetic waxes or PEGs, while mimicking the skin’s natural barrier to support hydration, softness, and resilience.
