Designed to work seamlessly with the Shure MXN-AMP PoE+ multichannel amplifier, the MXP-5 operates in both 70/100V and 8-ohm modes, providing flexible installation options. The MXN-AMP also offers optimized presets and user-configurable EQ settings, ensuring superior sound quality tailored to your space. For secure and encrypted audio transmission, Shure Audio Encryption technology protects content between the MXN-AMP and other Microflex® Ecosystem devices.

The MXP-5 is engineered for effortless installation. Its diameter closely matches that of the MXA901 ceiling array microphone, maintaining a symmetrical aesthetic while allowing for straightforward upgrades. A switch on the front faceplate provides quick adjustments between 70/100V and 8-ohm operation. To further simplify installation, Shure offers optional accessories such as the A-MXP-5-TB Tile Bridge and A-MXP-5-NCB New Construction Bracket (each available as part of select MXP-5 variations). Shure also recommends the use of an additional safety tether for overhead installations.
