A single 19th Century California style spur
The spur is made of iron or steel with a dark patina
The outer arm of the heel band has two crescents and engraved silver decoration.
It also has a domed silver spot in the middle of this arm.
Both arms end in a button and hanging tabs which would have held chains.
The neck turns downwards, there are bands of silver decoration on its outer surface and it has a chapguard on its top surface.
The rowel has ten points and still turns freely.
I cannot find any maker's marks or stamps
