Join Jessica Hatlen in a private immersive group experience where you will work together to learn to create creative and imaginative Halloween composites!! This Foundations course is open to ALL skill levels, and each level will learn and benefit from this month with Jessica!

Foundations of Halloween Composites will begin on September 5th and will continue for 4 weeks. Each Tuesday, Jessica will post an instructional video and each Monday, a critique video from Jessica will be posted.

Week 1: September 5 - For week one we will be learning to composite vibrant night time settings with our favorite ghouls and ghosts. We will learn how to create lighting effects and properly balance our subjects into the image.
Week 2: September 12 - This week we will be working on a piece inspired by our favorite classic halloween and monster stories. We will be focusing on how to add storytelling elements to our imagery.
Week 3: September 19 - For week 3 we will be creating spooky close up portraits in the surrealism style. We will focus on using our subject as the main storytelling object and how to transform our subjects into ghoulish creatures.
Week 4: September 26 - On our final week we will fine tune everything we learned over the month and create our final storytelling image using multiple subjects. We will learn how to properly blend our subjects to each other and the background to create a cohesive Halloween story.
