Effects of this medicine
・This medicine is a selective monoamine oxidase type B (MAO-B) inhibitor that improves the symptoms of Parkinson's disease by suppressing the breakdown of dopamine and increases the level of dopamine in the brain.
・It is usually used to treat Parkinson's disease.
Dosing schedule (How to take this medicine)
・In general, for adults, take 2 tablets (1 mg of rasagiline) at a time, once a day. Strictly follow the instructions.
・If you miss a dose, take the missed dose as soon as possible. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and follow your regular dosing schedule. You should never take two doses at one time.

・Refrain from taking any food containing St. John's wort (a kind of herb) with the medicine, because the effect of the medicine is affected.
・Refrain from smoking.
・Refrain from taking foods or beverages rich in tyramine content such as cheese, beer and red wine.
