Casio's Big Bang

Commemorating the 50th Anniversary of Casio Watch, this svelte new Oceanus 'Manta' SG1000 series limited edition model embodies the evolution of Casio, which continues to strive for originality and innovation. 

Based on the "Big Bang" theory around the origins of the universe, this watch is inspired by the origins of Casio, and carries a theme of black and gold. It is equipped with a newly developed gallium tough solar charging system, which has five times the charging efficiency and power generation of traditional solar modules used in watchmaking. The efficiency of this new system has also opened up new dial design possibilities, not previously available to Casio engineers. No longer reliant on large, semi-translucent photo cells, the dial of this new reference is cast nearly entirely in metal, with its color and uniquely skeletonized date ring in midnight blue, which is as close to black as possible. 

Limited to 350 pieces, the caseback of this SG1000 series reference denotes the 50th Anniversary of Casio, and includes a unique numbered engraving. It is finished in a special 50th anniversary box.
