The Svea Top is a sewing pattern kit that invites you to vary.

As a long-sleeved top with a turtleneck, Svea is a great basic.

If you replace the simple sleeves with the balloon sleeves including the wide cuff, this gives the top a special elegance.

Do you like your look to be a little more playful?
You can sew a version with a Peter Pan collar instead of the turtleneck. Your Svea Top becomes extra pretty when you pick a colourful woven fabric for the collar, like a cotton poplin. The mix of fabrics bestows the look of a blouse. Nevertheless, the Svea Top retains the cosiness of a jersey top.

The Peter Pan collar can be wonderfully decorated with ruffles.

Of course, you can also combine the Peter Pan collar with the simple long sleeve.

Try out several versions of the Svea Top.
