This French Art Deco cluster ring centres around a 0.80 carat cushion-cut principal diamond that is secured in a platinum rub-over setting and encircled by a pavé-set cluster of rubies. The rubies boast coordinating saturation and a combined weight of 0.20 carats, they are edged with gold-work which is further adorned with a cluster of round-cut diamonds amounting to a combined weight of 0.25 carats, bringing the total diamond weight up to 1.05 carats. The outer cluster of diamonds are all matching and are secured in platinum rub-over grain settings. They lead to the pierced gallery and open back-holing, this ring tests as 18ct yellow gold and platinum, circa 1925.
