This is Metatron! He is a monster who is more at home in medieval times, a devil you might see frolicking in the margins of old parchment. He is old fashioned but trying to adjust to modern ideas. Metatron is still a bit afraid of things like cars and the vacuum cleaner but he has mastered can openers and online fantasy football. Once in a while he will forget himself and call for a scold dunking or a trial by ordeal to settle an argument but he means well. Metatron just needs patience and maybe a bowl of pottage to sooth his frustration sometimes...

This is a hand made piece of art- the face/claws/horns and spines are cast urethane that have been hand painted. Glass eyes are in the face, head and arms. Parts of his face and jewelry glow in the dark! Faux fur body, stuffed with soft polyfill- floppy style doll with no armature.

Montague's necklace is made from a cast skull courtesy of Skullery: https://www.etsy.com/shop/skullery He also has two bottles with mysterious contents that glow in the dark. Metatron also carries a glass nightlight that actually lights up! Simply remove the small light in the top and push to turn on and off. Replacement batteries will be included.

As with all of my original dolls, this piece will come with a signed and dated etched wooden tag marking it as one of my one of a kind critters.

This is a piece of artwork intended for adult collectors. It can be played with and cuddled a little but please treat it with care to prevent scuffs. Clean any cast parts with a slightly damp cloth, do not use solvents.
