No, If There is no 360 camera inside your emblem,you can install our 3rd Generation Dynamic VW Light Up Emblem, you only need to replace your emblem without changing any other parts.

If there is a 360 camera inside your emblem, Our 3rd generation VW LED emblem is compatible with the presence of a 360 camera hole. However, it is necessary for you to manually drill the camera hole yourself. If you cannot accept it, please do not place an order.

Why is your 3.5th & 4th Gene VW Light Up Emblem compatible with ACC/radar for Emergency Braking?

Great question! The thickness of our newest VW Light Up Emblem is about 7mm. Previously, the thickness of the older VW Light Up Emblem was about 20-24mm, which was too thick for the radar signal to pass through the LED emblem. As a result, the old generation Dynamic VW Light Up Emblem would affect the radar's functionality. This is why we did not recommend installation previously.

However, with the new generation VW Light Up Emblem, it is compatible with ACC/radar for Emergency Braking.
