On the VW Multivan (T7), the ACC/Radar sensor is located below the license plate (as shown in the attached photo). Since the sensor is not positioned behind the emblem, our LED emblem will not interfere with the Emergency Braking system or the Adaptive Cruise Control. You can install it with complete peace of mind.

Why is your 3.5 Gen VW Light Up Emblem compatible with ACC/radar for Emergency Braking?

Great question! The thickness of our newest VW Light Up Emblem is about 7mm. Previously, the thickness of the older VW Light Up Emblem was about 20-24mm, which was too thick for the radar signal to pass through the LED emblem. As a result, the old generation VW Light Up Emblem would affect the radar's functionality. This is why we did not recommend installation previously.

However, with the new generation VW Light Up Emblem, it is compatible with ACC/radar for Emergency Braking.
