This print by Cecil Aldin, probably dating from around 1910, captures a charming scene from Charles Dickens’ Pickwick Papers. Known especially for his much-loved dog illustrations, Cecil Aldin also brought great character to other animals, and this print is particularly appealing for its black cat.
