The Fraser–Cole ten-dollar notes entered circulation in May of 1991 and were phased out just a couple of years later when the polymer notes arrived in October 1993.
While plenty of collectors put away lower-denomination paper notes like the $1s and $2s, not many could afford to stash away crisp $10s — especially in full runs or bundles.
Because of that, complete bundles of paper decimal notes have become a bit of a hidden gem for collectors.
