Large antique French monastery trestle table handcrafted by talented artisans near Caen, in the heart of Normandy, of old growth French oak bleached or washed to a natural finish and hand waxed to a beautiful patina, circa 1920s. Having a 2.75" thick solid oak top with rounded ends above carved baluster supports, all resting on plinth bases joined by a center stretcher. Thick and sturdy timbers able to withstand daily use by a busy family. This impressive bleached oak French dining table will seat 8 easily and can seat 10 with two at each end.
