Installation

1. Use an M6x1.00mm tap to clean out the threads on your wheel. Please note, old thread lock can cause the new bolts to bind and snap when torque is applied. It is imperative that the receiving threads are clean
2. Use a hex key to drive each bolt into its hole using only your fingers. The bolt should go all the way in without snagging. If it does not, clean the thread again and repeat until the bolt goes in smoothly
3. Remove the bolt, apply thread lock, and drive it in until it is finger tight
4. Repeat until all the bolts are seated
5. Tighten the bolts in a star pattern using a torque wrench to apply 10 N/m
6. Complete the installation by torquing the bolts to 18 N/m

Please note

• These bolts are precision-manufactured from Grade 5 titanium, which differs in material properties from the original steel bolts supplied by motorcycle manufacturers. For this reason, it is essential to follow the torque settings provided with the bolts, not those listed in the workshop manual or other sources
• Using excessive torque may result in bolt failure during installation
