BD Microtainer Lancet

The BD Microtiner lancet is ideal for pricking the fingertip to collect capillary blood. The contact-activated lancet is equipped with a safety mechanism that only triggers the needle if pressure is applied to the tip of the housing. As a result, accidental triggers are effectively prevented. Additionally, the lancet is automatically retracted after puncture, to reduce the risk of needlestick injuries.

The Microtainer lancet is available in three different versions: with a 30G needle for light blood flow and pain-free punctures, with a 21G needle for medium blood flow and with a 1.5 mm wide blade for heavy blood flow or for patients with calloused fingers.
