Legendary band born out of Bauhaus and Love & Rockets, Tones on Tail 1st remastered reissue! Tones on Tail, the legendary band formed by Bauhaus members Daniel Ash and Kevin Haskins with Glenn Campling of Love & Rockets, has reissued their only studio album from 1984 in analog format with the latest remastering. Daniel Ash says, "I think we were really breaking new ground. When I listen to it again now, it sounds like it was recorded last week, and it doesn't fit into any one genre. What I'm really proud of with that band is that it sounds like it's from another planet. As he says, the band's style of "doom and dance-pop," which is based on the gothic world of Bauhaus but incorporates dub, free jazz, and funky house beats, has been enthusiastically received by niche New Wave fans and DJs around the world.The remastered reissue was cut from the original analog masters, and after selling out at RSD2020 in the UK, the long-awaited standard edition of the album is now available for worldwide distribution.
