From 2017, Tokai's top of the line Love Rock; a custom LC230S-BB Premium Series. Features an ebony fretboard, long tenon construction & nitro finish. Previous owner took this already well spec'd guitar and turned it to 11 with the addition of a set of handmade Bare Knuckle Abraxas humbuckers, an Emerson Custom wiring kit with bumble bee caps, '68 style tulip tuners (Gotoh) and '68 style witch hat knobs. 

This one remains very clean overall. Body shows some very light surface marks but is otherwise in great shape with no major damage. Neck is in great shape with no notable damage or blemishes. Headstock shows some light surface marks but is otherwise clean. Ebony fretboard is about as clean as it gets. Frets show some very light wear but have no issues with buzzing or dead spots and plenty of life left in them. Hardware shows some very light wear but is very clean overall and all functioning perfectly. Electronics have been modified with a 3/4 full set of a brand new emerson wiring kit, this includes 3 emerson premier pro pots and one generic 500k pot in the bridge tone position, and two bumblebee style tone caps. Also included in the modifications is a set of Bare Knuckle Pickups "Abraxas" Humbuckers that sound incredible in this guitar! About as good as a Les Paul Custom can get and the top of the line for the Tokai Love Rock series. Has been fully inspected and set up by our tech and ready for a new home. Includes original Tokai Lifton vintage style hard case.

Bareknuckle Pickups - Abraxas

Players looking for more mid range crunch and the ability to drive an amp naturally will enjoy the classic voice of the Abraxas humbucker. The higher output also allows for excellent coil splits and it cleans up well with the volume pot.

Utilising the same sand-cast, Alnico IV magnet as The Mule, the Abraxas humbucker provides similar breadth and detail across the mid-range but packs considerably more power. The 43 AWG plain enamel scatter-wound coils retain the harmonic complexity of the vintage humbuckers, which adds more bottom-end depth and smoother control in the high-end, particularly in brighter guitars.
