The National
Description:
The band's memorable self-titled debut album was released in 2001. Released two years after the band's formation, the album sublimates influences from the previous generation of alternative bands such as Pavement and Silver Jews, but also features the shaky, withering dandyism of Matt Berninger, outstanding band arrangements and ensemble, and a maturity and originality that makes it hard to believe that this is a new band. This is a masterpiece and an introduction to the band's current image, with a mature originality that makes it hard to believe that they are a new band. At the time, the band was a four-piece with Aaron Dessner on bass and Scott Devendorf on guitar, and Bryce Dessner, who would later officially join the band, participated as a guest musician. Produced jointly by the band and Nick Lloyd, who is still an integral part of the Brooklyn music scene, the album features a number of classic songs, including the opener "Beautiful Head," a fitting start to The National's history, "Cold Girl Fever," "Son," and the 4th The album features 12 tracks, including the unique ambient-folk "29 Years," which is self-quoted on the album Boxer. For this reissue, the latest remastered sound sources were used, which were done at Abbey Road Studios. This product will be available for sale on Friday and will be released at the same time worldwide.
