Description:
Steve Vai was discovered by the brilliant Frank Zappa while attending Berklee College of Music, and after working as a scorer, he joined the band as a guitarist. His 1990 solo album "Passion And Warfare" was an instrumental album that reached No. 18 on the U.S. Album Albums Chart, earned a gold disc, and became a worldwide hit. His technical and unique approach to guitar playing is one-of-a-kind! Here is a rare live archive of one of these super guitarists, Steve Vai! The Ultra Zone" was released in 1999, and although its sales in the U.S. were sluggish again, it sold even better than its predecessor in Japan, reaching No. 14 on the Oricon Album Chart. In conjunction with the release of "The Ultra Zone," Steve Vai embarked on his first world tour, "The Ultra Zone Tour," from 1999 to 2000.The concert was a large scale one with 80 performances, and was recorded and broadcast as a TV/radio program for promotion in several European countries. This album is a complete recording of the concert held in Nijmegen, the Netherlands, on March 7, 2000. This is a great live album that shows Steve Vai's great ability as a guitarist with a rich mix of songs from his new album as well as his past masterpieces. Imported Domestic Version
