Rinos Ensemble
Description:
The "Society for Private Performances," a musical organization founded by Schoenberg in 1918, aimed to provide "quality performances" for those interested in the music of his time, and many interesting works were premiered. However, due to the worsening of the state of the world and severe inflation, it was almost always difficult to perform them in the formations originally intended by the composers. Schoenberg, his friends, and his pupils were therefore able to perform these works in more accessible formations (originally written for a large orchestra, they were replaced by chamber music, including piano and harmonium). The "Rinos Ensemble" was founded in 1977 by oboe player Klaus Becker. The ensemble has made a name for itself through its performance of the aforementioned "Private Performance Society," and its repertoire ranges from Bach to Stockhausen, with more than 130 works in stock at any given time.
