The new Mirka DEXOS 1217 M is the flagship model of Mirka’s suite of dust extractors. It is available as an M-class dust extractor and a HEPA filter can be fitted. For a complete dust-free sanding process, simply connect a powerful Mirka sander to the dust extractor with the supplied hose and begin sanding with Mirka’s effective abrasives, including the groundbreaking Mirka Abranet net abrasive.

With a powerful and long-life brushless electric motor, the Mirka® DEXOS 1217 M is quiet yet impressive. Power level is easily selected from the backlit control panel in the front of the dust extractor, together with hose diameter adjustment, auto-start selection, Bluetooth pairing and a customizable multifunction button.

The Mirka DEXOS features automatic filter cleaning and a push-to-clean function can be triggered. An airflow sensor indicates when the flow rate is below optimal. In addition, a wearable remote-control bracelet can toggle functions and relay information to the operator.

Handling the new Mirka DEXOS 1217 M could not be easier. The easily maneuverable and easily cleaned, 13-kg Mirka DEXOS contains space for storing the included 4m hose and cables during transport and it is compatible with Mirka’s Systainer storage boxes and existing Mirka hoses. The dust extractor includes two power outlets for tools and it is suitable for both wet and dry use. The dust bag in the 17-litre container can be changed or removed without the need to unclip storage boxes fastened on top of the dust extractor. When transporting the Mirka DEXOS, it can be secured in place with a foot-operated brake pedal.
