This KMC E9S chain is great for all 9 speed systems. The E-Series was developed with extra safety reserves for E-Bikes, but is also a perfect choice for classic bikes too. High performance 9 speed chain with long lasting life.

The Non-Directional design makes it independent of direction which allows maximum compatibility on MTB or Race bikes. With its unique stretch-proof treatment, the durability has been enhanced massively by reducing the attrition between the inner plates and pin. As a result, chain life has been significantly prolonged. The upper bridge forms a slant vault parallel to the tip of tooth movement. This vault shape makes the tooth and chain engage much more precisely.

X-Bridge: The KMC X-Series has been designed with the specific characteristics of the Shimano, SRAM and Campagnolo systems in mind and will meet the most demanding requirements.
