"After a barrage of split releases, Sweatlung is proud to present the first dedicated Vault Deprogrammer release.

An outlandish outing, developed alongside the team at the Sweatlung Sound Laboratories Corp, Abort, Retry, Fail?_ is a concept EP with origins scrawled on the back of a kebab bag, while 3 cans deep, on reviewing the contents of a box of old media received from a deceased estate.

Elements and imagery lifted / appropriated from, original packaging materials and instructional leaflets of formats from yesteryear. An embracing of much maligned, capitalist markings such as barcodes, QR codes and URLs (that no doubt will before long expire), applied to packaging which exceeds common sense and practicality, in favour of aesthetic enthusiasm.

This business card, shaped CD is mounted to the rear of a 1.44 MB / 2HD Floppy, strapped in place with a classic Obi strip, which features a QR code (an element that gained popularity during the Covid 19 era in which Vault Deprogrammer was conceived) which if scanned will take you to the bandcamp page for this release. On the rear of the floppy you will find the URL for the bandcamp download page and a unique download code for your digital collecting pleasure, and SoulSeek seed folder.

Once mounted and obi'd into place the product has then been placed, along with a promotional sticker from the overlord Sweatlung, into a transparent ziplock bag and then finished with a display hang-tag, stapled in place to ensure the freshness of the product.

Each unit of this limited release has been hand numbered out of 50."
