Following the highly acclaimed "The Call of London" (FB2001111), a collection of various 17th and 18th century British works by Matthijs, Handel, Purcell, and others, the second release on the Fra Bernardo label is a collection of Vivaldi concertos that fully showcase Michael Omann's brilliant technique. Vivaldi's Concerto Collection! From the vast number of concertos written by the red-haired priest for the outstanding orphan girls of the Pietà Institute in Venice, six solo and chamber concertos are selected, including the famous "Night (La Notte)" and "Goshiki Hiwa (Il Gardellino)".Amandine Beyer, a baroque violinist representing the new generation of French classical music, who studied with Chiara Banchini at the Schola Cantorum Basel, and Francesco Galligioni, a cellist (founding member) of the Venice Baroque Orchestra, The concerto will be performed by "Don Antonio" Vivaldi, who pursues his music with the best of ancient instruments, including Amandine Beyer, cellist of the Venice Baroque Orchestra, Francesco Galliggioni, cellist of the Venice Baroque Orchestra, and Paolo and Alberto Grazzi, who founded the Ensemble Zeffiro with Alfredo Bernardini.
