'In content it differs from the Overlander Songbook, containing less of the well known songs (these having already appeared in the Overlander) and more songs collected during field trips, mainly in north Queensland.  There are also quite a number of songs passed on by other field workers, and these are mentioned in the notes to the songs as they appear.'
