Inspired by its home city of Barcelona, Vilarnau Brut Reserva is stylish, vibrant and always at the centre of good times.

After destemming, the grapes are cold macerated for five days in open top stainless steel tanks and fermented with native yeasts. After primary fermentation, the wine is macerated with its skin for another ten days to achieve greater smoothness and intensity of flavors. Finally, the wine is racked to neutral oak barrels and aged for 8 months.

Our aim at Vilarnau is make the best cava with as little impact on our planet environment as possible. We make our living from the land, so looking after and nurturing it as best we can is in our DNA.

Grape variety: 50% Macabeo, 35% Parellada, 15% Chardonnay. Current vintage: NV.

The Vilarnau winery is a housed in a beautiful avent guarde winery less than 20 miles from the Mediterranean Sea, surrounded by row upon row of vines and enjoying breath-taking mountain views.

The light stream of never ending bubbles in Vilarnau Brut Reserva are produced using the traditional method. This superior process for creating especially fine and delicate bubbles is also used by Champagne producers.
