Bold, rock & wild covers of hit classics! Carl Perkins is the great singer/guitarist who created the eternal R&R classic "Blue Suede Shoes". Following his first album for Sun Records, "Dance Album" (ODR6036), this is his second album and the first popular album after his transfer to Columbia. The title track (M-1), which is famous for being sung by Jerry Lee Lewis, Little Richard (M-2, 5, 6, 12), Ray Charles (M-10), and other R&B hits of the time were mainly featured on this album, and the powerful rockabilly sound explodes on these brilliant covers. Ten singles from 1958-59, which were released around the same time as this album, are added as bonus tracks.
