InCarTec FK-983/2 Range Rover L322 Double Din Stereo Fitting Kit With DSP Bypass

Complete stereo upgrade fitting kit to install a double DIN aftermarket radio in a Land Rover Range Rover L322 (Vogue) with original high line head unit and DSP audio amplifier.

This head unit fitting kit includes:-Fascia adapter panel (50-983)-DSP amplifier bypass cable (20-316)-Steering wheel control adapter cable (29-721)-Universal patch lead for steering control adapter (29-025)-5M antenna extension lead (21-028)-Antenna adapter cable (21-106)

This fitting kit is supplied with a fascia adapter panel suitable for a double din aftermarket radio.

The fascia adapter allows the fitting of an aftermarket radio into the dashboard by matching the shape and style of the original radio.

The new radio fits into the fascia adapter using the supplied fixing brackets, this means that no additional fitting cage is required.

Note: Modification to the dashboard is required, we recommend this is done by a professional car audio technician.

A plug and play adapter cable to bypass the original DSP amplifier is included.This adapter cable allows the fitting of an aftermarket stereo upgrade by bypassing the original DSP amplifier in the car. The original amplifier uses a digital data audio signal and therefore cannot be used with an aftermarket radio. The cable bypasses the original amplifier allowing the new radio to play audio directly to the cars speakers.The original amplifier is located behind the rear left quarter panel in the boot. The amp bypass cable connects to the speaker connectors from the amplifier, it also connects to the quadlock connector from the original tuner module located in the same rear left quarter panel area as the amplifier. A 5 meter extension is provided to then extend these audio and power connections to the dashboard.

A Quadlock to ISO adapter cable with steering control interface is supplied in the kit. This cable adapts from the original connector in the car, known as a quadlock, to standard aftermarket connectors for the new stereo, known as ISO connectors. The built in steering control interface will retain the use of the audio control buttons, volume, track skip, source and telephone, on the steering wheel with the new after market radio.

A universal patch lead is supplied in the kit, this is to pair the steering control interface to the steering control input of Alpine, Clarion, JVC, Kenwood, Pioneer, Sony and Chinese / unbranded head units.

A Fakra to DIN antenna adapter is included in the kit along with a Fakra to Fakra extension cable. This adapts from the original style antenna connectors in the car, known as Fakra connectors, to a standard aftermarket connector for the new stereo, known as a DIN connector. The Fakra to Fakra extension cable extends the original antenna connector at the tuner module in the rear left of the car to the front.
