We might be able to trace the popularity of the motorcycle jacket back to Marlon Brando's famous role in The Wild One (1953), a film that was considered so controversial that it was banned in Great Britain until 1967. Ever since then, motorcycle jackets have become a timeless ode to the countercultures of restless endeavor. 

Who knows who wore this jacket from it's creation in the 1970s onward. Just as all good quality vintage comes to us as artifact, it's interesting to think that this jacket saw the social destruction of the Vietnam War, the explosion of punk rock music, and the LA riots of the 90s. Sourced in Los Angeles, California, somehow this jacket survived to be worn another day.
