The 1930s marked the aesthetic turning point between Art Deco and modernism. Emphasis was placed on the harmony of forms and the use of new materials such as metal and glass. Inspired by this period, Casamance explored two-tone geometric patterns based on the interweaving of quarter circles and clean lines. The use of volumetric metallic lacquer and tone-on-tone flat colours gave a touch of sophistication to the graphics. This was reinforced by the presence of fibres in the texture of the paper. ANNEES 30 is available in four colours: navy, verdigris, terracotta, and golden brown.
