The front presents a patchwork of block-printed handloom panels in white and off-white, and the reverse is plain handloom kora. Two layers without batting keep it light and manageable year-round. Wide quilted borders on all four sides finish it cleanly. Take it on a picnic, layer it on a bed, or let it sit in a spot in your home where it will be used.

Weight: 1500 grams.
Note: This kowdhi uses 750 grams of surplus handloom fabric that would otherwise have gone to a landfill and reflects close to 55 hours of work by women quilters. It washes easily at home in cold water with a mild detergent and dries best in shade. A gentle machine wash works just as well. Minor marks from handling or storage wash off easily in the first wash, without any fuss.
