This natural, un-dyed wool yarn comes from a small herd of Jacob sheep that roam alongside a couple hundred ducks & a few lucky goats on a farm in California. They are raised with lots of love & hard work, & the sheep are sheared once a year to make this limited-edition yarn.

Jacob sheep possess a lovely spotted coat & usually have 4 horns.

Their spotted coats make it possible for us to offer this small-batch, small-herd yarn in 3 different colors. That’s right, 3 different colors of yarn from the same sheep!

Even though Jacob sheep were first brought to the United States from England in the 1900s, they’ve been documented for thousands of years in many regions of the world, including the Far East, Middle East, & Mediterranean regions.
