Salomon brought the Shift Pro series to market for a pretty singular reason. The R&D team wanted to design a boot that could rip all over the mountain, but also appeal to skiers looking to dabble in the wonders of the backcountry. The Shift Pro 100 AT, a tick softer than it's super-stiff big brother, the Shift Pro 120 AT, is the perfect gateway for skiers looking to expand their resume from the lifts to the skin tracks.

This all boils down to one inescapable fact: The Shift Pro 120 AT is built to ski like a true-blue alpine boot, while providing the comforts, flex, and sole of a touring boot. It passes with flying colors. With four buckles and a power strap, a medium 100 flex, a seamless and ridiculously comfy liner, and a shell designed for pure power transfer, this boot dreams of driving your sticks at high speed. 

A one quiver boot, however, means it has to handle the uphill, as well. The Surelock skiwalk mechanism is secure and simple, enabling an expansive range of motion for walking, with a simple flip of a switch. An additional hiking hook on the top cuff's buckle expands the range of motion and mobility of the boot when it’s in hike mode, improving your comfort when heading up towards a peak. Toss in a GripWalk sole and you've got yourself a true one quiver AT boot.
