V2 Bretta Body Overview:

Leadfinger Racing Mugen MBX8/MBX8R Eco V2 Beretta 1/8 Buggy Body. The V2 Beretta body is a design concept that combines the previous Assassin, A2.1 Tactic and Berretta body features. The modern combination complements both hard and soft lines that provide perfect overall balance on any track surface!

Starting with the front of the body, the added “fin rails” located on the front the side pods are updated for LFR and provide an “edge” that significantly increases corner traction, entry and speed. The fin rails flow seamlessly into the V2’s rear side pods that have been carried over from the Beretta body. The rear chiseled design helps to maintain downforce evenly during corner exit, high speed jumping and plants the buggy more consistently upon landing.

The added winglets on the top of the pods are an original design concept first seen on Ty Tessmann’s Worlds winning HB D15 in 2014. Since then, multiple manufacturers have adapted them into their designs and it quickly became a trend in the 1/8th scene for added stability performance!
