The Fiat 500 Abarth and Fiat 500T utilize an Air/oil Separator and PCV combination unit to purge crankcase vapor back into the intake system and into the engine while allowing the engine internals to breath. A clogged Air Oil Separator (AOS) or failing PCV valve will cause smoke on acceleration and occasionally at idle. A clogged unit will also place internal pressure on seals and can contribute to engine failure if ignored. This can also lead to fouled spark plugs and spark plugs covered in oil. Easy installation and is located on the drivers side of the engine bay directly on top of the valve cover.
