A gorgeous Gem Quality Crystal Opal from Yowah, Outback Queensland. Pure Crystal of this quality from Yowah is extremely rare and sought after!

This is a vintage stone and would have been originally fully framed in ironstone. Unearthed in the 80’s, at the time they were still cutting excess ironstone material away to expose only pure gems.

This stone displays gorgeous suspended colours predominantly fresh ice blue and soft green in a playful floral, confetti and chaff patterns. Colour runs skin to skin!

Cut to a freeform, high dome cabochon with a high quality finishing polish.
