U.K.
Description:
The U.K. super band, the last of the 70's progressive rock scene, was formed by Bill Bruford (ex-Yes-King Crimson) and John Wetton (ex-Family-King Crimson), along with Eddie Jobson (ex-Curved Air-Roxy Music) and Alan Holdsworth (ex-Tempest-Soft Machine-Gong). The band was a ray of light on the progressive rock scene at a time when punk rock was at its peak. The band released their debut album "U.K." in March 1978, and finally released a live album featuring footage from their North American tour. The concert in Boston, Massachusetts on September 11 was recorded and broadcast as a program on WBCN-FM, a local FM station specializing in rock music. The original masters for this broadcast have been remastered to the best possible quality for this release.Since the setlist for the concert consisted of 9 songs, this live album is a complete recording of the concert, a perfect live performance that should be noted for the perfection of the studio work, and shows the greatness of this super band. It should be noted that three songs from the second album are performed in different arrangements. This is truly a long-awaited live album release for progressive rock fans! Imported domestic version with bilingual booklet in English.
