It offers a striking combination of energy, tension and power, but with a feeling of weightless elegance that is palpable. The 2023 was barrel-fermented and aged in heavy-toast French oak, 90% new, but the oak imprint is really quite minimal."

Pahlmeyer Chardonnay is a premium, full-bodied Napa Valley wine known for its opulent, high-altitude fruit, creamy texture, and, generally, a 100% new French oak aging regimen. Produced primarily from Mountain-grown grapes, it often features complex notes of pear, citrus, toast, and minerality. The wines are highly acclaimed, frequently scoring 94-98 points.
